Shin-Young Kim

She has appraised projects across a number of industries, notably in student accommodation, traditional PFI, solar, waste, and interconnectors.

Most recently, she was part of the investment team at UPP Group Ltd, raising over £600m in senior bond and income strip funding across new developments and refinancings, and facilitating the arrangement of a c.£150m corporate revolving facility.

Shin has also led UPP’s portfolio modelling overhaul, comprising of individual operating models of 20+ assets, 7 of which are cross-collateralised assets in a public bond, with a portfolio level dashboard overlay for group consolidated level valuations in aid of UPP’s conversion to a REIT, subsequent corporate level debt raising, as well as ongoing senior reporting and equity monitoring.
