Charlie Wood

Charlie has worked on numerous buy and sell side M&A mandates across the energy transition sectors as well as developing bespoke valuation and transaction models for clients. This includes modelling for a battery storage JV agreement, a minority acquisition of a UK offshore wind farm and for the capital raise of a UK EV charging company. His recent engagements also include the development of appraisal models for a plastics recycling plant and hydrogen projects, and the creation of operating models for onshore wind farms across continental Europe.

Charlie completed a secondment to a market-leading solar developer, working on the early stages of a major solar PV divestment. He was also seconded to a leading energy-from-waste developer and operator where he supported late-stage development and financing activity.

Clients have included infrastructure funds such as Equitix, Hermes, NextWind, MAM and sponsors such as Lightsource BP, Centrica, Veolia and Enfinium.

Charlie began his career as an accountancy apprentice in 2013.
