Andrew Wood

Andy was previously Head of Modelling in the infrastructure team at DC Advisory where he worked on the refinancings of Coriance, Ermewa and Adven and buy-side advisory for the acquisition of the Oikos oil terminal.

Recent experience includes the development of a corporate model for a German fibre platform, development of a portfolio model for Statera Energy, corporate models for GGND, Cadent Gas, Southern Water and Elenia. Andy also has extensive M&A experience, having recently supported DIF on its acquisition of UK district heating platform Pinnacle Power, Invesis on its acquisition of data centre operator Asanti, as well as supporting a client in bidding for a £400m battery storage JV with EelPower.

He has deep experience of delivering complex financial models in a fast-paced deal environment. His suggestions for model delivery and improvement have been gratefully received by clients in facilitating their day-to-day use of the models. Andy is also a well-reviewed trainer and has delivered training courses in Financial Modelling, VBA and Project Finance in Europe, New York, Middle East and Singapore.

Andy began his career at Price Waterhouse in 1993 where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
