The Public-Private Partnership (P3) initiative involves the delivery of a new acute care tower with 216 beds, 16 operating rooms, an ICU, and an expanded emergency department.
Evolution Infrastructure acted as model auditor to Plenary Americas on the QEII Halifax Infirmary P3, part of Nova Scotia’s Queen Elizabeth II Health Services Centre.
The project will deliver a modern acute care tower with 216 beds, 16 operating rooms, an intensive care unit, and a larger emergency department. QEII Renew will enhance access to care, replace aging infrastructure, and support clinical excellence for future generations of Nova Scotians.
Completion of the acute care tower will enable services to be relocated from aging facilities like the Victoria General Hospital and Dickson Centre to new, state-of-the-art buildings and renovated program spaces.
