We’re pleased to have supported Elements Green on this landmark platform investment from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).

Evolution Infrastructure is proud to have provided financial modelling support to Elements Green in connection with a EUR 80 Million investment from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to accelerate the development of its utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio.

Structured through CIP’s Green Credit Fund I, the platform financing agreement will enable Elements Green to advance its 13GW pipeline of solar and storage projects across the UK and Europe. The capital will be used to support project development, construction, and acquisitions, while allowing the business to retain long-term ownership and progress towards becoming a large-scale independent power producer (IPP).

CIP’s Green Credit Fund I, which closed in late 2023 with EUR 1 Billion in commitments and an additional EUR 200 Million in co-investments, was established to deliver tailored credit solutions to energy transition projects and platforms globally.

Craig Jenkinson, Associate at Evolution Infrastructure, said:

“We’re pleased to have supported Elements Green on this landmark platform investment. The scale of their development pipeline is a clear signal of ambition, and this partnership with CIP marks a major milestone on their journey. We look forward to continuing our work in the solar and storage sectors as the market evolves at pace.”
