Job Description

With an exciting pipeline of financial modelling assignments and advisory mandates, an opportunity has opened to join our expanding financial modelling team.

As an Associate Director within the team you will be responsible for leading financial modelling engagements from the very outset; drafting and negotiating engagement terms with clients, and planning resourcing to ensure timetables can be met.

You will lead the successful delivery of projects, taking a hands-on approach to the day-to-day work whilst effectively managing more junior resource and reviewing their output to ensure high quality products are delivered to clients.

The role will involve using your problem-solving skills to distil key project information and analyse complex financial structures to design, develop and deliver financial models.

The role requires working to tight deadlines, prioritising workload, project management and going the extra mile to always ensure the highest levels of service to clients.

When not involved in client work you will be expected to be involved in business development activities, expanding the firm’s network of clients with the aim of developing a tangible pipeline of engagements, facilitated by developing subject matter expertise in the areas the business is targeting (e.g. energy transition).

The role offers the candidate an opportunity to build on their extensive knowledge of financial modelling and project finance and to complement their existing strong accounting, finance, and Excel skills, whilst also continuing to developing their first class client-facing, project management and consulting competencies.
