EvoInfra acted as financial modelling partner and model auditor on developing a new operational model for the Earls Gate Energy Centre.
The Earls Gate Energy Centre (EGEC) is a state-of-the-art Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility in Grangemouth, Scotland, developed in partnership with Encyclis. EGEC plays a pivotal role in Scotland’s transition to sustainable waste management while delivering reliable, low-carbon energy to the region.
This Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant provides steam and electricity to local industries, supporting manufacturing and processing operations. Surplus electricity is exported to the National Grid, further enhancing its contribution to Scotland’s energy mix. The facility is operated and maintained by Kanadevia-Inova.
