Enfinium plays a critical role in the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy, operating four EfW facilities with a further two under construction. Collectively, these assets process unrecyclable waste to generate enough electricity and heat to power over 500,000 homes, while diverting millions of tonnes of residual waste from landfill.
Looking ahead, Enfinium is advancing plans to transform its sites into “decarbonisation hubs” through the installation of carbon capture technology. These initiatives are designed to enable large-scale carbon removal and support the UK’s net zero ambitions.
