EvoInfra provided financial modelling support to Equitix on their acquisition of minority stake in the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm in the Moray Firth, Scotland’s largest fully operational offshore wind farm.
Since start of operations in 2022, the Moray East offshore wind farm has generated clean energy for more than 1.43 million Scottish households. The operation of the 100 Vestas turbines is overseen by Ocean Winds, which will continue its daily management activities from the operations and maintenance base in Fraserburgh.
Moray East has a contract for difference at GBP 57.50 per MWh and a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Centrica Plc for 76.7% of its total output.
